【夏の多文化共生体験学習1日目】Multicultural Program First day.

いよいよ、夏休みです！

みんなの家 HOUSE FOR ALLの夏休みの最初の大きな活動は多文化共生学習です。

世界の人たちが、幸せな一つの家族のようにつながりあえることを願いつつ計画した体験学習です。

子ども達が海外の講師たちとの交流を通し、外国の文化を直接体験します。

講師は、Jenny山本先生、Gavin Young先生、Anthony先生の3名がメインとなり進めます。

Jenny山本先生は国際連合のお仕事をタイでされ、2014年に広島に移られ広大で国際コミュニケーション専攻で博士号を取られた方です。

Gavin Young先生はアメリカの方で、日本には 23年前に初めて来られ、岩手大学で教鞭を取られ、現在は尾道市立大学で教えておられます。彼の専門は国際文化交流/コミュニケーションシステムの分野で、外国語教育のマスター/修士号を取得されております。

このサマープログラムの主な目的は

1.英語を好きになる

2.お互いを理解し合う

3.楽しく遊ぶ

4.他の国の文化を学ぶ

この事を、問題解決のために Design for Change Approach

・感じる

・想像する

・実行する

・共有する

を意識して、さまざまな体験を通して学んでいきます。

1日目は、英語の勉強に、創作活動。

みんな自由で面白い発想ばかりです。

ランチもみんなで協力してつくり、美味しくいただきました。

Finally, it's summer vacation! The first major activity of the HOUSE FOR ALL summer break is multicultural coexistence learning. It's an experiential learning program designed with the hope that people from around the world can connect like one happy family. Children will directly experience foreign cultures through interactions with overseas instructors.

The main instructors for this program are Jenny Yamamoto-sensei, Gavin Young-sensei, and Anthony-sensei.

Jenny Yamamoto-sensei worked for the United Nations in Thailand and moved to Hiroshima in 2014. She earned a Ph.D. in international communication from Hiroshima University.

Gavin Young-sensei is from the United States and came to Japan 23 years ago. He taught at Iwate University and currently teaches at Onomichi Municipal University. His expertise lies in the field of international cultural exchange and communication systems, and he holds a master's degree in foreign language education.

The main objectives of this summer program are:

1. To develop a love for English.

2. To understand each other.

3. To have fun.

4. To learn about the cultures of other countries.

To achieve these goals, the Design for Change Approach is consciously incorporated:

- Feel

- Imagine

- Act

- Share

Through various experiences, participants will learn these concepts.

On the first day, activities included studying English and creative activities.
